Primary Location Burnet Campus Department Nutrition Therapy Shift Day (United States of America) Schedule Full time Weekly Hours 40 FTE 1 Employee Status Regular •Expected Starting Pay Range $56,846.40 - $72,488.00 •Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Benefits and Paid Time Off :
Benefits start immediately. RDs can accrue 30 days of PTO each year; unused PTO rolls over. Additional PTO for some promotions.
Pay :
The pay starts at $62,920 and can increase based on years and type of experience. What you will do as a Reg.
Dietitian:
Clinical practice & leadership : Develop nutritional care plans and outline goals with patients and family based on existing nutritional standards of care. Implement nutritional interventions based on knowledge of disease state, normal and therapeutic nutrition and child development. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of patients' nutrition care plan. Collaborate with health care team on the implementation of nutrition care principles. Provides nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families/care providers.
Fiscal Responsibility:
Complete productivity records and enter charges in a timely fashion.
Professional Growth and Development :
Serve on committees and/or work groups affecting the department and/or hospital. Contribute to body of professional knowledge within the department, Cincinnati Children's or community as appropriate. Exhibits desire and initiative to increase knowledge and skills.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other members of the multi-disciplinary clinical team to optimize care of patient families participating in the assigned program. Partner with coworkers to provide valuable input on projects and takes ownership of project(s) assigned. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in nutrition (or equivalent program) required. Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the State of Ohio required. 2+ years of relevant experience preferred but not required.
