217610 - Nutrition Program Position Summary The La Salle University Nutrition Program is seeking Registered Dietitians for adjunct teaching for all upcoming semester options: Fall (15-week; August through December) Spring (15-week; mid-January through May) Summer (6-week; end of June through end of July) Possible course options:PRIORITY
Principles of Nutrition (3 credits; in-person, online) - evening or day sections for in-personEssential Duties Principles of Nutrition:
Teach students basic knowledge of food nutrients; functions, interactions, and balance of carbohydrates proteins, lipids, vitamins, minerals, and water in normal human physiology; nutrient deficiency diseases; energy metabolism; nutrition and fitness. Three-credit lecture course. May be offered both online (asynchronous) or in-person. Possibility for day or evening sections, meeting once (2 hrs 45 minutes) or twice (1 hr 15 minutes each) per week if in-person. Required Qualifications- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nutrition or related field

- Previous experience teaching in a higher education environment
