Week Contract Shift:

Day Shift with Rotating Weekends Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team for a 13-week contract assignment in State College, PA. The Clinical Dietitian will provide comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualized nutrition care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans. Provide medical nutrition therapy based on physician orders and evidence-based practice. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition-related conditions and dietary management. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Monitor patients' nutritional status and modify care plans as needed. Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with clinical nutrition guidelines and best practices. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or a related healthcare field (required). Master's degree preferred. Licensure & Certifications Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Required Skills Strong clinical nutrition assessment skills. Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).

Pay:

$2,300.00 - $2,400.00 per week
