The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with experience in patient assessment and care planning. This role requires effective leadership skills, management capabilities, and a passion for promoting health and wellness among our residents. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate dietary requirements and preferences. Supervise dietary staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations and quality standards. Manage budgeting for the dietary department, including food procurement and inventory control. Provide health coaching to residents, educating them on nutrition and healthy eating habits. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care through effective nutrition management. Maintain knowledge of physiology related to nutrition to inform dietary practices. Requirements Experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong background in dietetics, nutrition, and physiology knowledge. Proven management experience with the ability to lead a team effectively. Familiarity with budgeting processes within a dietary department context. Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and staff members. Ability to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Supervising experience in a dietary or healthcare environment is advantageous.
