Our multidisciplinary team is committed to providing evidence-based, individualized care that helps adolescents and families create lasting change. We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our Eating Disorder PHP team in Pasadena. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with adolescents, families, therapists, psychiatrists, and nursing staff in a highly supportive treatment environment. Position Summary The Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition assessment, counseling, meal support, and treatment planning for adolescents receiving care in our Eating Disorder Partial Hospitalization Program. The ideal candidate has experience treating eating disorders and is passionate about helping adolescents develop a healthy relationship with food, movement, and body image. This position is hybrid, requiring both in-person services at our Pasadena PHP and virtual sessions as clinically appropriate. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and ongoing reassessments Develop individualized nutrition treatment plans and meal plans Provide individual nutrition counseling to adolescent clients Facilitate nutrition-focused psychoeducational and process groups Participate in meal support and therapeutic meal coaching Collaborate closely with therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, and program leadership regarding treatment progress and recommendations Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding nutritional goals, meal support strategies, and treatment recommendations Monitor weight trends, nutritional status, and eating disorder behaviors Document services in a timely and professional manner Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and program development initiatives Support clients in challenging food rules, increasing flexibility, and achieving nutritional rehabilitation goals Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required Active California licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Minimum of 1 year of experience treating eating disorders preferred Experience working with adolescents and families strongly preferred Knowledge of Family-Based Treatment (FBT), CBT-E, DBT, and eating disorder recovery principles preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team Proficiency with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms Preferred Experience Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), residential treatment, or outpatient eating disorder experience Experience facilitating groups Experience providing family nutrition education and coaching Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Flexible hybrid schedule Supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team Opportunity to help build and shape a growing eating disorder program Meaningful work with adolescents and families making lasting recovery possible To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience working with adolescents and individuals struggling with eating disorders.
