Primary Gilbert, AZ We are expanding our Gilbert location and looking to add to the team! We have part-time; day, evening, and weekend shifts are available. Flexibility to make your schedule. Seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition counseling in an outpatient setting. This dietitian must be highly organized and able to work both independently and as a collaborative member of the team. Should have knowledge in motivational interviewing, enjoy working with clients, and have a passion for nutrition. Must be outgoing and have the confidence to network with others. We are looking for an RDN with excellent counseling skills and an outgoing and dynamic personality who can successfully partner with our clients and the community. We are currently seeking a specialist with experience in the following areas:- Weight Management
- GI Disorders
- Diabetes
Heart Disease Position Responsibilities:
- Perform nutritional assessments and ongoing medical nutrition therapy/counseling for clients with active eating disorders in individual sessions
- Be familiar with various evidence-based treatment options, and be able to make appropriate referrals as needed
- Stay on top of relevant research and best practices
- Collaborate with an outpatient team of providers (doctors, therapists, etc.)
- Perform various administrative duties (chart notes, client & provider communication, etc.)
- basic computer skills required
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in out patient/counseling role.
- Strong knowledge of counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapy
Preferred:
- Flexibility with scheduling
- Basic computer skills
- Highly-organized
- Can work independently Availability Flexible days and can be modified week to week.
Pay:
$30.00- $50.
