Job Description

About our practice: Nurtured Nutrition is an outpatient private practice, and we see clients primarily in Massachusetts and Rhode Island well as some surrounding states. We specialize in working with clients suffering from eating disorders, chronic dieting, body image concerns, and gastrointestinal issues. We are HAES (Health at Every Size) aligned and utilize intuitive eating in practice. We focus on behavior changes to help heal our clients' relationships with food from the inside out
Seeking:
A Registered Dietitian that is passionate about helping others to provide medical nutrition therapy to clients with a variety of health conditions, primarily eating disorders, sub clinical disordered eating, chronic dieting, gastrointestinal issues, and other medical conditions these clients may have. We are looking for someone to be a long term team member to build up to a full time caseload over time Roles & Responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and create individualized nutrition goals/plans for clients with eating disorders Monitor and document progress of clients and adjust nutrition plans as needed Collaborate with therapists and other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated care Provide nutrition education and counseling to clients and their families Stay up to date with current research and best practices in nutrition for eating disorders Maintain state and national licensure requirements, professional liability insurance, and continuing education credits as required Ability to work later afternoon appointments (5 pm or later) at least 2 days per week Ability to work in person in New Bedford, MA one day a week, all other days virtual
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian (RD) Credentials Licensure (LDN) in Massachusetts Licensure (LDN) in Rhode Island or a willingness to acquire licensure in Rhode Island Private & Quiet location to conduct telehealth appointments Must be open to build to a full time position over time
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) highly coveted Licensure (LDN) in other surrounding states Experience and/or additional education in the field of psychology and counselling Experience with treating eating disorders and GI conditions Experience practicing from a Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating (IE) framework Residence in

$63.28 - $105.00 per hour
