Williamsburg, VA (Hybrid position starting with one day in office)
Schedule:
Flexible, with afternoon/evening availability preferred. This position will start as a part time position (5-10 hours per week) and can be grown to full time.

High school and collegiate athletes, Eating disorder recovery About SM Nutrition Our mission is to empower high school and college athletes with evidence-based, performance-driven nutrition strategies. We provide personalized fueling plans that optimize energy availability, support recovery, and foster a healthy relationship with food. By addressing challenges like Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs) and disordered eating, we help athletes build confidence in their nutrition, maximize their potential, and achieve long term success in both sport and life. Key Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required Strong experience in REDs, disordered eating, or eating disorder recovery Minimum of 1 year of experience working with eating disorders CSSD or CEDS credential a plus, but not required Experience working with athletes Comfortable working with teens and young adults Strong communication skills and a compassionate, non-diet approach Availability for afternoon/evening sessions Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. This process helps us ensure a safe and supportive environment for the athletes and families we support Responsibilities Provide virtual and in-person (Williamsburg, VA) nutrition counseling. Assess for signs of REDs, low energy availability, and disordered eating behaviors. Develop individualized fueling strategies that support performance, recovery, and mental health. Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including family members / parents, therapists, and medical providers, as needed. Maintain thorough documentation and follow-up using electronic health records. Stay current with evidence based sports nutrition and eating disorder education.
