Serving a Medicaid population dealing with chronic conditions and food insecurity, this is a great role for RDs interested in gaining additional hours and making a meaningful impact on patients lives. Key Duties Provide personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for various medical conditions Assess and provide recommendations for adult patients Utilize behavior modification strategies and techniques to optimal nutrition counseling Evaluate achievement of learning objectives and provide appropriate treatment plan in accordance with patient goals Utilize nutrition-related information systems and/or patient medical record systems to successfully document recommendations and progress Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients' protected health information Ability to perform work independently with minimal training Required Licenses/Certifications Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR NC state dietitian license is required prior to starting position If you're looking for better work-life balance , consider consulting.
