Competitive hourly pay based on experience About Us LKN Wellness is a rapidly growing, patient-centered wellness clinic specializing in functional medicine, hormone optimization, metabolic health, gut health, medical weight loss, primary care, and lifestyle medicine. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys educating patients, creating personalized nutrition plans, and working alongside nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and health coaches in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about functional nutrition, metabolic health, gut healing, weight management, hormone balance, and long-term lifestyle change. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments Develop individualized nutrition and lifestyle plans Support patients enrolled in metabolic, weight loss, gut health, hormone, and detoxification programs Review food journals and provide ongoing accountability Educate patients on whole-food nutrition, blood sugar regulation, inflammation, gut health, and sustainable habit change Interpret nutrition-related laboratory findings within scope of practice Collaborate with providers to optimize patient outcomes Conduct virtual and in-office nutrition visits Participate in group coaching sessions, workshops, and educational events Create educational handouts and patient resources Document patient encounters accurately within our electronic health record Qualifications Required Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Current North Carolina licensure (or eligible) Excellent communication and motivational interviewing skills Strong organizational and documentation abilities Preferred Experience in functional or integrative medicine Experience with obesity medicine or GLP-1 therapy Knowledge of gut health and elimination diets Familiarity with food sensitivity testing, microbiome health, and nutritional supplementation Experience leading group education or coaching sessions What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who: Loves educating and inspiring patients Thinks beyond calorie counting Believes nutrition is foundational to healing Enjoys collaborating with an interdisciplinary team Is compassionate, positive, and growth-minded Wants to help build an innovative wellness practice Benefits Depending on employment status, benefits may include: Flexible scheduling Supportive team culture Professional development opportunities Employee discounts on wellness services and primary care for themselves and nuclear family.
