Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Help Patients Transform Their Health Through Personalized Nutrition Ixcela is growing quickly, and we are looking for a compassionate, clinically minded Registered Dietitian to help patients uncover the root causes of their symptoms and build sustainable nutrition and lifestyle strategies to improve their health. You'll work directly with patients experiencing gastrointestinal issues, metabolic concerns, chronic health conditions, and other complex wellness challenges—using Ixcela's proprietary blood metabolite testing and evidence-based nutrition counseling to guide personalized recommendations. This is a high-impact role where clinical expertise, curiosity, empathy, and communication matter every single day. While this position is remote, candidates must live in Massachusetts and be able to commute to Ixcela's Beverly, MA office ~2 times per month for team meetings, training, and occasional in-person patient sessions.

- Role Overview As a Registered Dietitian, you'll work directly with patients to interpret Ixcela test results, identify opportunities for nutrition and lifestyle interventions, and provide ongoing nutrition counseling and accountability that helps patients achieve meaningful health outcomes.
While this role will primarily involve conducting virtual patient sessions, you'll also work closely with the Operations, Care Coordination, Sales, and Clinical teams to ensure patients receive an exceptional experience throughout their care journey. This is a true clinician role: you are on the front lines helping patients understand what is happening in their bodies and empowering them with actionable recommendations that improve their health and quality of life. - Duties & Responsibilities Conduct primarily virtual nutrition counseling sessions using Ixcela testing data and patient health histories (periodic in-person sessions at the Ixcela office may be needed as well) Guide patients through results review sessions and ongoing accountability visits Develop personalized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations based on patient goals, symptoms, laboratory data, and clinical presentation Use motivational interviewing techniques to support sustainable behavior change Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly within Ixcela systems Communicate patient progress and session updates with referring healthcare providers Respond to provider questions regarding patient care and nutrition recommendations Collaborate with fellow dietitians and cross-functional teams to continuously improve patient outcomes Assist with development of nutrition education materials, articles, recipes, videos, and patient resources Support the sales/provider partnerships teams through clinical education when appropriate Stay current on emerging nutrition, gut health, and lifestyle medicine research•Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential in good standing Massachusetts Dietitian/Nutritionist license required Minimum 3 years of patient counseling experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience with motivational interviewing techniques Ability to explain complex health concepts simply and clearly Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills Excellent written documentation skills Strong time-management and organizational abilities Curiosity and enthusiasm for gut health, personalized nutrition, and preventive healthcare Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate within a team environment•Preferred Experience (Not Required) Clinical nutrition counseling Gastrointestinal disorders (IBS, IBD, reflux, SIBO, irregular digestion) Metabolic health, weight management, diabetes, or prediabetes Autoimmune conditions and chronic disease management Oncology supportive care Functional or integrative nutrition approaches Telehealth counseling Working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams Experience using EHR systems and telehealth platforms•Benefits Include Three weeks paid vacation Medical & Dental Insurance Eligibility for Employee Stock Option Plan•Requirements When Applying For This Position Submit resume Answer the application questions
