Job Description
- Maryland (On-Site) Position Overview Our medical center is seeking dedicated and collaborative Registered Dietitians to join our clinical nutrition team.
Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Care:
Manage an average daily caseload of 8 to 10 non-ICU patients (fewer when covering the ICU)Clinical Consultations:
Conduct patient evaluations based on various clinical referral reasons, diagnose and fully assess malnutrition, and develop customized nutritional care plansInterdisciplinary Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with medical teams and physicians to ensure supplement orders, parental nutrition support, and overall patient dietary needs are met. Participate in team roundingDietary Education:
Provide tailored nutrition and diet counseling to patients and their familiesCross-Functional Coverage:
Primary assignments will be unit-specific (e.g., medicine, oncology, ICU) during the week, but staff will cover the entire hospital on a rotating basis during weekend shifts Required Qualifications Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) in the state of Maryland Open to all experience levels (accepting entry-level and experienced candidates alike) Preferred Qualifications Advanced certifications such as CNSD, CSO, CDE, or PNEN Hands-on experience withEPIC EMR
(Electronic Medical Records) software Schedule MondayFriday:
8:00 AM- 4:30 PM (with rotating weekend coverage) Compensation $67,392.00
