Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics (Master's preferred), 1-3 years of registered dietitian experience, and appropriate licenses or certifications such as the Tennessee Dietitian-Nutritionist license and registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Key skills encompass knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process, medical nutrition therapy, critical thinking, decision making, and effective communication. Additional requirements include the ability to work independently, counsel others, and proficiency with nutrient analysis and basic software tools. This position does not involve supervisory duties and requires physical activity such as standing, walking, and reaching, with light exertion.
