Schedule:

Monday•Friday, 8:30 a.m.•5:00 p.m.

Position Summary:

NHC Fort Sanders is seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This full-time role focuses on ensuring accurate nutritional assessments and implementing plans to improve the nutritional status of our patients/residents. The RDN will also provide expert guidance to the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) team, including the Director, Manager, NDTR, and support staff. While the emphasis is on clinical nutrition, responsibilities may extend to other areas within Food and Nutrition Services. If not based on-site, facility visits must occur regularly to maintain effective communication with medical, nursing, and administrative staff, and to support departmental operations.

Qualifications:

Education & Licensure:

Must meet the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for RDNs.

Must have completed a Dietetic Internship or equivalent training.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in geriatric nutrition is preferred.

Recent internship or equivalent clinical training is required.
