YEAR GENERAL PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to coordinate the dietitians, so that all dietitian essential duties and responsibilities are assigned to the appropriate dietitian and completed in a timely manner. This person will coordinate internal wellness events, attend Harmons meetings to promote health and wellness, coordinate dietitians in evaluating foods, coordinate dietitians to create and update written health and wellness materials, and perform training of new dietitians including communicating new dietitian needs when a new office is set up. This person will also provide exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures Delivers excellent customer service to all customers Coordinates Harmons dietitians to ensure all new foods are reviewed for labeling for Dietitians Choice, Organic, and Gluten Free in a timely manner and all food categories are reviewed biannually to verify eligibility to remain on a Dietitians Choice, Organic, or Gluten Free label Coordinates other dietitians to support the Healthy Checkout Lanes program Coordinates other dietitians for Traveling Dietitian program Coordinates Harmons dietitians so internal promotion task assignments are distributed, assigned, and completed by deadline Coordinates Harmons dietitians in creating and updating written health and wellness materials as necessary Coordinates Harmons dietitians for local media requests Coordinates Harmons dietitians to meet the needs of Better Basics teams Schedules Harmons dietitian meetings Coordinates dietitians for community wellness events (e.g., health fairs, community presentations) Attends meetings as necessary to promote health and wellness internally Performs other administrative duties as necessary Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner Sets a professional and positive example to others Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole

TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities: A bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or related field preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Certified and Registered Dietitian certification Extensive knowledge of nutrition topics including gluten-free, food allergies, diabetes, weight loss, etc. Must be comfortable as a public speaker Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office Suite, the internet, and basic office equipment Ability to interpret policies and procedures Excellent organization and planning skills Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with and manage diverse groups of people Ability to appropriately and professionally handle conflict Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team Required to make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized analytical skills and techniques Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons' mission and commitment to working collaboratively Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, forward focused, and consistent Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Must have personal transportation and be able to travel between stores and to community events. Also requires standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
