Corporate Travel Dietitian Job Details Location:
Richmond, Virginia Type:
Travel $105,000 per year total compensation + benefits package 40 hours/week | Starting ASAP for a duration of at least 1 year Ongoing travel position covering a variety of settings and locations Acute care and LTC experience required Pediatric or Dialysis experience or bi-lingual English/Spanish skills are a plus Includes 15 days PTO per year Pay breakdown: $28

Traveling RD in various settings and locations Work at least 3 short-term assignments each year
  • assignments ranging from 2-4 months in each location Choice of up to 3 assignment locations whenever possible
  • geographic preferences considered for each candidate At least 2 years acute care and long-term care experience required Weekdays with potential weekend or holiday rotations required Immediate benefits eligibility and PTO accrual available Clinical duties primarily Perks of being an ongoing Dietitians On Demand employee include : Premier pay rates and benefits package including health insurance 15 PTO days per year•to be scheduled and used between assignments Paid workdays for travel to new assignments depending on distance Choice of up to 3 locations per assignment•geographic preferences considered Flexibility to choose own housing based on desired spending given set travel allowance per year Reimbursement of state licensure for states required for job assignments Free continuing education Corporate liability insurance W2 employment status Nutrition Care Manual access for Adult & Pediatric populations Opportunity for 401K after completion of 1 year of continuous employment Key Duties Ability to work in a variety of settings including acute care, long-term care, long-term acute care, outpatient, pediatrics, PACE settings, and dialysis At least 2 years experience as a clinical RD in a variety of settings Willingness to travel to assigned work sites which will include relocation to different cities, states, or regions.
Could include urban as well as rural/outlying locations Independently obtain short term housing in assigned locations through recommended resources using included housing and travel reimbursement Ability to perform work independently with minimal training Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in meetings and/or rounds Experience with electronic charting, the Nutrition Care Process and writing PES statements to provide appropriate documentation for the plan of care Works cooperatively with food service staff to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients' protected health information Required Licenses/Certifications Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR RD is responsible for obtaining additional state licensures for areas they are traveling to, reimbursement provided by Dietitians On Demand Candidates must successfully complete a thorough pre-hire screening process, including but not limited to: phone screen, background check, drug screen, reference and credential check, clinical competency assessment, and tuberculosis screening. Immunization titers and fingerprinting, and other onboarding and training as may be required depending on location/facility assignment. Please note that the advertised pay rates are subject to market fluctuations, candidate availability, and individual qualifications. The final compensation offered may vary based on these factors.
