What you will do:
Enforce and maintain sanitation and infection control in kitchen Delegate team members and help with meal preparation, services, and dining experience Purchase food, nutritional supplements, and cleaning supplies for the kitchen while staying within budget Evaluate and provide plans for improvement regarding any aspect in dietary system (staffing, protocol, purchasing, etc) Oversees all kitchen staff Participate in corporate dietary meetings to plan the new seasonal menu Must have: Current unencumbered license to practice as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) in the state of Washington Ability to taste and smell food in order to determine quality and palatability Able to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff Posses special interest in and a positive attitude about working with long term care residents and the elderly population Able to read, write, speak and understand English Meets health requirements as required by law Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications Caldera Cares for you!
