Director of Nursing Services

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead the clinical operations of a senior living community in the Birmingham, Alabama area. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing resident care services, managing clinical staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of excellence and compassionate care. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader who is organized, team-oriented, and passionate about serving seniors in an Assisted Living and/or Memory Care environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical operations of the community Supervise and support caregivers, med techs, and wellness staff Ensure quality resident care and compliance with state regulations Conduct resident assessments and care plan reviews Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, hospice providers, and families Manage medication administration systems and clinical documentation Participate in staffing, scheduling, and staff training initiatives Assist with surveys, audits, and incident investigations Promote a positive and professional work environment Qualifications Must hold a current LPN license in the state of Alabama Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living Strong understanding of state regulations and resident care standards Experience managing and leading clinical teams Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with department leaders and families CPR certification preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation package Supportive leadership team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors Professional growth opportunities Benefits package available
