Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for the nursing department, aligning clinical goals with organizational mission and vision. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that ensure compliance with state-specific education laws and healthcare regulations. Manage departmental budgets effectively, overseeing resource allocation to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and high-performance standards. Oversee staffing schedules, personnel management, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and competent team. Collaborate with educational institutions to support academic leadership initiatives and facilitate ongoing staff training in current best practices. Ensure quality assurance processes are in place, conducting regular audits to uphold safety standards and improve patient outcomes. Drive organizational change through effective management strategies, including team management and instructional leadership in education within the healthcare setting. Requirements Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current state-specific credentials required for practice. Proven experience in school or healthcare administration with a strong background in education administration or school experience preferred. Demonstrated expertise in management, personnel management in education or healthcare settings, and team leadership. Extensive knowledge of state-specific education laws related to healthcare training programs or school-based health services. Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, organizational budget management, and instructional leadership. Experience in university or higher education settings is advantageous for understanding academic leadership dynamics. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to leadership and team management.
