Interim Director of Nursing
JOB DETAILS A
California Surgery Center Is Seeking an Interim Director of Nursing to Join Their Team! The Position An Interim Director of Nursing is needed to provide clinical and operational leadership for a busy ambulatory surgery center.
Reporting to the CEO, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 12 FTEs.
Key responsibilities include stabilizing nursing operations, preparing the team for an upcoming survey, and developing best-practice policy and procedure checklists.
The ideal candidate will have ambulatory surgery center leadership experience, a strong background in survey readiness and mock surveys, and the ability to quickly establish structure and accountability. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements BSN required; Master's preferred.
Active California RN license required.
Must have progressive nursing leadership experience, including ambulatory surgery center leadership, survey readiness, mock survey experience, and regulatory compliance expertise. Pay Details Pay Range:
$150,000 - $160,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
