You will be responsible for the overall management of Clinical Services within our 133-bed skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the clinical quality results as they relate to patient outcomes throughout the facility Oversee staffing functions related to the Clinical Department Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care & protocols Educate patients, families & staff members about health maintenance and disease prevention Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain positive relations with Department Head Team Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
Previous experience in long term care administration preferred Familiarity with medical software and equipment- PCC, Incident reporting Ability to build rapport with patients, families & staff members- staffing and labor management Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
