As a vital member of our nursing staff, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care to our residents. About the
Role:
As our Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and services. You will lead a team of skilled nursing professionals, provide guidance and support, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the direction of our nursing department and promoting a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and services Lead a team of skilled nursing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and promote a culture of teamwork Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and mentor staff to promote professional growth and development Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Valid CT RN license in good standing Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
