Florida Salary:
$120,000 Monday-Friday, Day Shift Overview A growing academic institution is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead and oversee its nursing education programs. This leadership role is responsible for driving program quality, faculty performance, accreditation compliance, and overall student success. The ideal candidate combines clinical expertise, academic leadership, and operational oversight to ensure high-performing nursing programs aligned with institutional goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations of nursing programs , ensuring academic excellence and regulatory compliance Supervise, mentor, and evaluate faculty and departmental staff to maintain high performance standards Ensure programs meet and maintain accreditation and Board of Nursing requirements Collaborate with academic leadership to develop curriculum, course schedules, and faculty assignments Monitor and improve student outcomes, retention, and program effectiveness Recruit, interview, and onboard qualified nursing faculty Oversee faculty evaluations, performance management, and professional development Coordinate academic activities including clinical rotations, labs, exams, and student learning experiences Prepare and maintain compliance reports, documentation, and academic records Partner cross-functionally with leadership to support institutional growth and strategic initiatives Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required (focus in Administration or Education preferred) Active RN license (Florida) in good standing 5+ years of nursing experience in clinical or academic settings 2+ years of teaching or academic leadership experience Strong knowledge of accreditation standards and nursing education regulations Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and program operations Compensation & Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (including HSA/FSA options) 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off + 12 Paid Holidays + Volunteer Day Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance Professional Development & Tuition/Education Assistance Clear path for career growth and advancement Why Apply This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape the future of nursing education, develop faculty, and improve student outcomes within a structured and supportive academic environment.
