Director of Nursing (DON)

About the Role AAA Home Health Services Inc is a licensed Home Health Agency based in Miami, FL, committed to delivering high-quality skilled care to our patients in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Director of Nursing to lead our clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest standards of patient care. This is a key leadership position that reports directly to the Administrator and plays a central role in the agency's growth and mission. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all clinical nursing operations and staff Ensure compliance with AHCA, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies and procedures Supervise and conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff Coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and therapists Lead and manage the agency's quality assurance program Serve as the primary clinical contact for AHCA inspections and audits Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all clinical records Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients, families, and staff

Qualifications Required:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida Minimum 2 years of experience in a home health setting Bilingual — English and Spanish fluency Prior supervisory or management experience in home health Strong knowledge of AHCA regulations and Medicare/Medicaid conditions of participation

Preferred:

Experience with Inmyteam EMR CPR certified Compensation Hourly rate: $38 - $48/hr (based on experience) Annual equivalent: $80,000 - $100,000 (2,080 standard hours) Performance-based profit distribution program — eligible from year one, grows with tenure Benefits 5 paid PTO days (year 1) — increases with length of service 3 paid sick days 5 paid holidays Performance-based profit distribution program
