Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the leadership and operational excellence of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing management, strategic planning, and educational administration, with a passion for fostering high-quality patient care and staff development. As ADON, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, managing budgets, and leading clinical teams to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency. Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Support budgeting processes by monitoring expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and controlling costs without compromising care standards. Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork. Coordinate educational programs and training initiatives to promote continuous learning among staff members. Collaborate with management to develop policies that improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes. Participate in management meetings, contribute insights on staffing needs, quality improvement projects, and compliance issues. Maintain effective communication channels between clinical teams, administration, patients, and families to ensure transparency and high satisfaction levels. Skills Must Possess a valid Florida RN license Strong strategic planning abilities with experience in healthcare administration. Proven management skills with the capacity to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Expertise in budgeting, financial oversight, and resource management within a healthcare setting. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence, motivate staff, and promote continuous improvement. Knowledge of teaching methodologies relevant to staff education and training programs. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
