Job Description
Director of Nursing (RN) - Home Health Florida Home Bound Mental Health Agency, Inc. is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Director of Nursing for our Medicare-certified Home Health Agency located in Miami, Florida. The Director of Nursing will provide clinical leadership, oversee patient care services, ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, and support our commitment to delivering exceptional home health services. Qualifications Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a Medicare-certified Home Health Agency. Thorough knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, Florida home health regulations, OASIS documentation, quality assurance, infection control, and clinical compliance. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience preparing for and participating Medicare, AHCA, Joint Commission, or accreditation surveys is highly preferred. Current CPR certification. BSN required; MSN preferred. Responsibilities Direct and supervise all clinical operations of the agency. Ensure compliance with Medicare, AHCA, Joint Commission, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Supervise and support clinical staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, therapists, home health aides, and other clinical personnel. Oversee patient care planning, quality improvement, utilization review, and clinical outcomes. Ensure timely completion and accuracy of OASIS assessments and clinical documentation. Participate in hiring, orientation, education, competency evaluations, and performance management of clinical staff. Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Maintain survey readiness and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
