Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical operations in our skilled nursing facility in Florida. This leadership role works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (including Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) guidelines) Oversee clinical operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to nursing staff Assist with survey readiness and participate in state and federal surveys Support infection control, risk management, and resident safety programs Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning Qualifications Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting Prior supervisory or management experience preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and reimbursement processes Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Current CPR certification What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive team-oriented work environment Why Join Us?
