About the Director of Nursing (DON) Role As the Director of Nursing, you will be the cornerstone of our clinical leadership team. What You'll Do as the Director of Nursing (DON) Lead and oversee all nursing care operations within the facility. Develop, implement, and uphold nursing policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance. Mentor, coach, and inspire your nursing team through regular feedback and performance evaluations. Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive work culture. Ensure nursing staff maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and operational outcomes. Analyze patient care data to drive improvements in care quality and staff performance. Manage departmental budgets efficiently to optimize resources and services. Partner with facility and organizational leadership to achieve strategic goals. Ensure residents consistently receive compassionate, high-quality nursing care. What You Bring as the Director of Nursing (DON) Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required Current RN licensure. Minimum of 2 years in skilled nursing in a leadership role. Will be required to participate in on call schedule Possibly work nights, weekends and/or holidays Deep understanding of nursing regulations, compliance, and best practices. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing budgets and departmental operations.
