Job Description

Welcome to Community! We are a 101 bed skilled long term and rehabilitation nursing facility, and we are looking for a qualified RN for our ADON position!
Qualifications :
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with a current RN license in good standing is required, with 2-5 years of Nursing Management preferred. Must possess knowledge and and skills in the following areas, Professionalism , Resident Rights , Organization and Communication , Safety Awareness , Leadership and Customer Service . Essential Job Duties include but are not limited to the following: Assisting with supervision and guidance to the Nursing staff Assists DON in directing and developing the nursing department to ensure high quality of care in accordance with laws, regulations, and company guidelines. Assumes responsibilities as DON when DON is absent or not available Assesses and evaluates residents needs and makes recommendations to DON regarding nursing departments ability to meeting those needs as well as recommendations for appropriate staffing Monitors infections developed post-admission and reports to DON for quarterly review Educates staff on clinical policies and procedures Participates in care plan meetings, as well as other various routine, and non-routine meetings, to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of facility outcomes Monitors nursing notes to ensure accuracy and timeliness Ensures physicians have recorded and signed progress notes timely Assists DON with policies and procedures adherence, as well as monitoring absenteeism and making recommendations for corrective action Provides direct care as necessary Participates in discharge planning Assists in building an effective nursing team and actively participates in state and federal survey processes
