Hill Haven Skilled Nursing and Rehab is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing role. The ADON will assist the DON with monitoring and overseeing the nursing department for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This is an exciting time to be a member of Team Hill Haven! We enjoy a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the ADON. The ideal candidate is flexible and innovative with strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills. The ADON must relate professionally with residents, team members, family members, and physicians. The ADON will assist with the overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with center policies, nursing standards, and regulatory agencies. At least 1 year of long-term care and supervisory experience is required. Must be in good physical and mental health and must be kind, considerate, understanding and enjoy working with elderly people. Must possess skills necessary for acting as charge nurse on a given unit, when assigned. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel. The Assistant Director of Nursing reports directly to the Director of Nursing and supports the Director in all duties pertaining to the Nursing Program. The position is administrative in nature and requires active participation in the management of all areas of nursing services.
