Directs Center nursing activities to assure the delivery of quality nursing services, in accordance with established nursing procedures, regulatory requirements, Devereux Standards of Care and best practices.

Serves as a nursing expert:

provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to nursing staff in our Kennesaw, Lawrenceville and Hampton Offices. Maintains adequate workforce and staffing levels to ensure compliance to quality of care and ratios. Establishes and updates nursing policies and procedures. Coordinates and collaborates with other departments including medical, admissions, operations, quality management, etc. Participates in regulatory site visits, investigations and quality management initiatives. Leads by example through active, hands-on support of the nursing team, providing assistance in clinical operations and resident care areas as needed to ensure high-quality outcomes and team success.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Masters or in pursuit of a Masters of Nursing preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Four years of leadership nursing experience working with adolescents in a mental health setting required. Experience with Joint Commission/CARF accreditation preferred. Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
