As Director of Nursing, you will: Provide leadership and direction to our nursing department Support, mentor, and develop nurses, C.M.A.'s and CNAs Promote high-quality, resident-centered care Oversee nursing practices, policies, documentation, and clinical systems Assist with staffing and development of a strong nursing team Work collaboratively with the Administrator and other department leaders Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal nursing home requirements Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff Help create a positive workplace where employees feel valued and supported

Requirements:

Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Strong clinical nursing skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities A compassionate, approachable leadership style Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and quality of life Long-term care experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience preferred We encourage experienced nurses with strong leadership potential to apply.
