Job Description
High Point Residence Peoria Senior Living Community Wellness Director — RN or LPN High Point Residence Peoria is seeking a compassionate and experienced Wellness Director to lead clinical operations and support the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. This role combines hands-on nursing leadership, team development, and day-to-day clinical oversight within a supportive living environment. About the Role The Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing nursing services, guiding and supporting the clinical team, and ensuring high standards of resident care, documentation, and regulatory compliance. This position plays a key leadership role in promoting a culture of quality, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care. Minimum Qualifications Active Illinois RN or LPN license Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field Experience in supportive living, assisted living, or long-term care Experience with electronic medical records Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to supportive living communities Key Responsibilities Oversee nursing staff and promote high standards of resident care and wellness Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing team Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support comprehensive care Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Support daily clinical operations and departmental workflows Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and community standards Promote resident advocacy, staff development, and a positive team culture Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building skills Clear and effective communication Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to quality care, resident satisfaction, and staff support We are an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against applicants based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law.
