Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare standards. Manage the budget for the nursing department, including staffing and supply expenses. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve patient outcomes.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher level of education preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a healthcare facility with Medicare patients. Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
