We are hiring a Day Services Director to direct the regional activities of the Day Services. The Director will provide service coordination to clients who participate in Northern Indiana Day Services and/or Therapeutic Services, as well as oversee quality of services. Job Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain an environment of organization, support, and a meaningful day for participants. Provide vision and leadership for department in planning and implementing community and facility-based, age appropriate activities for participants. Assist with the development and expansion of program services. Overall staff supervision; determining staffing needs, staff selection, training, performance reviews, disciplinary action Provide supervision; determining staffing needs, staff selection, training, performance/incentive reviews, and disciplinary action. Conduct regularly scheduled required training (SAT, MANDT, and other departmental trainings) and staff meetings. Maintain quality client files by completing required file audits and providing guidance on required documentation. Routinely monitor facility programming and make community visits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and program standards. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, CARF standards, Medicaid Waiver, permits and licensing requirements, as well as policies and procedures of BHS. Coordinate with community resources in order to provide a variety of quality activities for participants. Comply with and implement all protocols related to client health and safety of participants including but not limited to: high risk plans, dining plans, seizure management plans, and personal care schedules. Reasonable suspicion of a crime against an ICF/MR resident must be reported to Indiana State Department of Health and Law Enforcement (Elder Justice Act). Actively participate in Director and departmental meetings, Management Rally, committee meetings, state association meetings, state sponsored meetings, and other meetings as required.
