Director of Nursing (DON) Bowling Green Nursing & Rehabilitation Bowling Green, KY Are you an experienced nursing leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, resident-centered environment? Bowling Green Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our exceptional clinical team at our 66-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility . As our Director of Nursing, you will provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all nursing services while fostering a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care. What You'll Do Lead and oversee all nursing operations to ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance. Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting employee engagement and retention. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve positive clinical outcomes. Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance. Build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners. Promote a culture of compassion, integrity, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky. Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and long-term care operations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
