Director of Nursing (DON) ✅ Job Description (JD): We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee all nursing operations within our healthcare facility. The DON will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence and empathy. ✅
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, lead, and evaluate the nursing staff across all departments Develop and implement policies, protocols, and quality improvement plans Monitor patient care to ensure best practices and high clinical standards Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (State, JCAHO, CMS, OSHA) Manage department budgets, staffing, and scheduling Facilitate training, certification, and continuous education for nurses Work closely with physicians, administration, and other healthcare staff Investigate incidents, resolve complaints, and oversee audits and inspections ✅
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Active RN License (BSN required, MSN preferred) Minimum 5-7 years of clinical nursing experience with 2+ years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare laws, and compliance standards Excellent leadership, team-building, communication, and decision-making skills Proficient in EMR systems and clinical documentation ✅
Preferred Qualifications:
