Are you ready to join our team!! We are seeking a dedicated & compassionate Director of Nurses to join our team! The Director of Nurses (DON) primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines and regulations and clinical standards of care that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The right candidate will have proven long term care experience as a Director of Nursing and possesses a strong working knowledge of DPH long term care regulations and have a good survey history. The Director of Nursing must be a strong and fair leader who can clearly communicate with staff and family members. Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse with an active, unencumbered current license Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility Exceptional command of local, state and federal regulations Unwavering professionalism Ability to respond calmly and professionally in challenging environments or situations Effective computer skills Extraordinary interpersonal and leadership skills Point Click Care (PCC) experience BSN preferred.
