This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Critical Care nursing leader to join a respected acute-care hospital and partner directly with executive leadership. As Nursing Director of ICU, you will play a key role in supporting the Chief Nursing Officer while providing leadership for critical care operations, clinical excellence, staff development, patient safety, and quality outcomes. This position offers the ability to influence nursing practice across multiple units while helping shape the future of patient care delivery. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and operational oversight for ICU and assigned patient care areas Partner closely with the Chief Nursing Officer on nursing strategy and operational initiatives Support assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services across multiple units Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care Drive staff engagement, competency development, and professional growth Promote excellence in clinical practice, patient outcomes, and resource utilization Serve as a mentor, leader, and advocate for the nursing profession Support regulatory compliance, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives QualificationsRequired Active RN License Associate Degree in Nursing plus Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare-Related Field or BSN Minimum 5 years of Critical Care experience in a hospital setting Minimum 2 years of progressive leadership experience as a Manager, Charge Nurse, or similar leadership role CPR Certification Preferred MSN or Master's Degree in a Healthcare-Related Field Ideal Background We're seeking a strong nursing leader with a passion for critical care, team development, and operational excellence.
