JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Nursing - DON duties to include but not limited to: Overall leadership, management, and direction of the Nursing Department. Collaborate with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of exceptional resident-centered care Provide strategic oversight of clinical operations, staffing, quality improvement initiatives, infection prevention, survey readiness, employee development, and resident outcomes Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and equipment. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and resident-centered care
REQUIREMENTS
Current MA RN license in good standing required Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility & minimum of 5 years recent clinical long term care experience Previous Director of Nursing experience preferred BLS certification required
