Director of Nursing Shift - Monday through Friday Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department with passion, expertise, and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative and compliant environment. Your leadership will drive innovation, uphold high standards of clinical excellence, and support the professional growth of your team. Duties Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services, improve patient outcomes, and align with organizational goals. Manage departmental budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation while maintaining high-quality standards. Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional development, engagement, and retention. Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies to ensure safety and quality assurance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care programs and educational initiatives that elevate service delivery. Facilitate ongoing education administration by organizing training sessions, certifications, and continuing education for nursing staff. Drive innovation in clinical practices by integrating evidence-based approaches and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Master's degree in nursing preferred. Current licensure in the state of Maine as a Registered Nurse or Compact licensure.
