Job Description

As the School of Nursing (SON) has continued to grow, so has the number of advisers and programs. The Assistant Director of Advising will be responsible for the day-to-day operational needs for advising services. The Assistant Director will be instrumental in developing and supporting targeted initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing-specific orientations, registration, academic progress, and overall academic success. In addition to managing an advising caseload, the Assistant Director will focus on increasing the retention and success of both graduate and undergraduate nursing students. The Assistant Director will support the Director in leading initiatives to enhance our advising services, ensuring that all students receive personalized guidance throughout their academic journey.
