Description Birchwood Cottages is a memory care community dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals with memory impairments. We pride ourselves on our person-centered approach and our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are currently seeking an experienced RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting the health and well-being of seniors, have strong clinical assessment skills, and be able to work collaboratively with both our clinical and non-clinical teams.
Job Summary:
As the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day health management of our residents. You will assess residents' physical, emotional, and psychological needs, create care plans, and ensure continuity of care. Your role is key in delivering exceptional care, providing support to the direct care staff, and ensuring that residents' needs are met at all times. We have 1 FT RN position open at our Owatonna location and 1 FT RN position at our North Mankato location
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of resident health and care needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Coordinate and monitor the delivery of nursing services and treatments. Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication. Monitor residents' conditions, manage medications, and provide medical interventions as needed. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies. Complete all necessary reporting and documentation timely. Participate in case conferences and provide updates on resident care progress. Supervise and mentor nursing staff. Provide training and support to new and current staff members as needed. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care when required. Understand and have working knowledge of caring for those with memory loss. Position Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota. Must successfully pass a Minnesota background check.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics. Experience in case management or care coordination is a plus. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
