Director of Nursing (DON)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all regulations and standards
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care outcomes
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
• Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, best practices, and industry trends
• Ensure adherence to Medicare guidelines and regulations
• Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels within the nursing department

Experience:

• Current RN license
• Proven experience in nurse management or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of home care and home health services
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
