Director of Nursing (DON) Libby Care Center | Libby, Montana Lead with Purpose. Inspire Excellence. Make a Difference. Libby Care Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and drive exceptional resident care. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nursing leader who is committed to clinical excellence, staff development, regulatory compliance, and creating a positive culture for both residents and employees. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in shaping the quality of care delivered throughout the facility while partnering with the leadership team to support operational success and outstanding resident outcomes. What You'll Do Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and clinical operations. Develop, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning. Partner with physicians, therapists, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote exceptional outcomes. Monitor clinical metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care. Qualifications Current RN license in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain). Previous nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute setting preferred. Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and clinical operations. Requirements:
Qualifications Education Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred. Licenses/Certification Valid RN license in the state employed. Valid CPR certification. DNS-CT or CDONA, optional. Valid driver's license. Experience 3-5 years successful experience as a Director of Nursing or equivalent position in long-term care facility preferred
