From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients' journey to recovery. We are looking for passionate people to join our team! McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full-time Assistant Director of Nursing to work in its Clinical Operations deptartment in Charlotte, NC. How will you help us achieve our mission?
You will:
Assist in planning, directing, and evaluating nursing services across the organization. Ensure nursing care is delivered in accordance with clinical standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements. Support implementation of evidence-based nursing practices. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing personnel, including Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses (RNs), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Assist with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and retention of nursing staff within budgetary requirements. Provide clinical coaching and ongoing staff education related to addiction medicine, behavioral health, and patient safety. Support nursing and pharmacy readiness for inspections, audits, and accreditation surveys. Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating nursing policies and procedures. Participate in incident investigations, corrective action plans, and risk management activities. Oversee safe medication administration practices, including controlled substances, in accordance with regulatory requirements. Monitor patient outcomes and identify opportunities for quality improvement. Required to work as a program nurse, as needed, to ensure staffing coverage of department. What are the qualifications needed for this role?
Education/Experience:
BSN required, MSN preferred Nursing Management experience required
Certificates/Licenses:
Unrestricted NC RN or RN from another state that participates in the multistate nurse licensure compact. What we offer you as an employee:
