Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents, while also providing administrative leadership and expertise to our nursing staff. Responsibilities:
Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients, supporting and practicing the philosophy, nursing objectives, and standards of the Department of Nursing Ensure the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to patients/residents Develop and implement in-service/staff development programs to meet nursing objectives and standards and comply with state and federal regulations Provide clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process in patient/resident interventions Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, residents, employees, and visitors Act as Director of Nursing in the absence of same, as described in the Director of Nursing position description, if designated by the Director of Nursing Exercise administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the
Director of Nursing Requirements:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in the state of North Carolina At least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred) Ability to work varied schedules, including on-call duties Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Work Environment:
In-person work location in Nebo, North Carolina 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties as needed
