The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership for nursing and health services across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centered healthcare services, regulatory compliance, clinical oversight, staff development, and coordination of healthcare supports that promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred. Minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience, including at least two years of supervisory or leadership experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
This position requires education, training, and licensure as an RN in the state of North Dakota, or the ability to apply for and receive reciprocity from another state as a licensed RN with an unencumbered license before starting this position. Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using correct spelling, form, and content. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or fellow employees. Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Reasoning Ability :
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with many abstract and concrete variables. Physical Demands :
The physical requirements of this position include the ability to travel between service locations, respond to healthcare emergencies, perform nursing assessments, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Work Environment:
