Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines
- Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve quality of care
- Stay up-to-date with current medical practices, advancements, and technologies
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of nursing services
Requirements:
- Valid RN nursing license and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and care plans
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and Medicare guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families
- Ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
- Experience in hospice care is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
