Director of Nursing (DON) - Leadership Opportunity in Nursing Excellence We are seeking a compassionate, strategic nursing leader with a passion for advancing patient care, building high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence. This is an opportunity for an experienced Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations with a strong focus on employee retention, budget management, and workflow optimization. This leadership role allows your clinical expertise and business acumen to directly impact quality of care and organizational success. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Provide strategic direction for the nursing department Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Promote staff engagement, professional development, and retention Operations & Workflow Optimization Oversee nursing operations to ensure efficiency and quality Streamline workflows and improve processes to enhance outcomes Staff Development & Retention Implement training and development programs that promote excellence Build and maintain a positive, supportive work environment Working hands-on with clinical team Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices Lead quality initiatives focused on safety and patient care improvement Budget & Resource Management Manage departmental budget and ensure responsible resource utilization Identify and implement cost-effective strategies without compromising care Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with interdisciplinary leadership teams Support alignment of nursing services with organizational goals
What We're Looking For Education:
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
Licensure:
Active and valid RN license required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in nursing leadership with proven success in team development, budgeting, and process improvement
Skills:
Strong leadership, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and financial management abilities
Communication:
